Hegemony or Normalization: Israel’s Future in the Middle East

While its current position relies on external support (United States, Europe, Arab regimes, evangelicals), this hegemony remains fragile and reversible. The crisis is also rooted in collective trauma and internal political excesses, fueling a cycle of endless violence, particularly in Gaza. A way out requires Israeli society’s awareness, the end of authoritarian drift, the recognition of Palestinian rights, and the opening of a genuine dynamic of peace between peoples.
