The position adopted by the Arab States during the Gaza War
In this article, Dr. Adel Bakawan analyses the evolution of the Palestinian question, tracing its shift from 1948-1978, when it was framed as a conflict between Arab nationalism and Jewish nationalism, to a phase of de-Arabization marked by the normalisation of Arab-Israeli relations. Finally, the current conflict involving Iran and Hamas, though publicly condemned, objectively serves the interests of Arab states, which prioritise their stability in the face of these hostile actors.
