The decade-long social contract between the Kurdish Regional Government and its citizens is being challenged. Peace and stability are no longer seen as enticing by many young Kurds risking their lives to escape their homes. Their government must innovate and come up with solutions to an economic sector in deadlock and a rapidly shifting social fabric in the region if it wants to avoid the impending youth quake.
