Karen Hekimian has a master’s degree in European and International Studies from the University of Trento and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Lebanese American University. Her research expertise is in the Middle East and the South Caucasus, with a focus on foreign policy, and conflict analysis, as well as refugee issues, integration, and European Union policy. Having lived across the region, she has a firsthand understanding of its local nuances and political realities. Karen is fluent in Arabic, Armenian, and English, and is currently learning Italian. She has also worked as a Communications Intern at the Armenian Embassy in Lebanon.
