Christian Taoutel is a historian and an esteemed faculty member at Saint Joseph University (USJ) in Beirut. In 2022, he was elevated to the rank of Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French Republic. In 2024, he was honored as “Personality of the Month of Francophonie” by the USJ Alumni Association.
