Dr. Adel Bakawan was invited to this event to talk about the Kurds in Iraq, Iran, Syria, and Turkey. He was able to talk about their history and the ongoing geopolitical and political landscape, to understand the current dynamics. The event took place on April 9th, 2026, in Paris, France.

EISMENA was invited to a conference co-organized with the Jeunes IHEDN at the École Militaire. The objective was to talk about the ongoing situation in the Middle East while at the same time talking about the political landscape of Iraq post-elections. The event took place on February 16th, 2026, in Paris, France.

EISMENA and TotalEnergies became partners for a year. EISMENA’s team (Adel Bakawan and Lyna Ouandjeli) went to Basra to deliver conferences as part of our subsidiary training project on intercultural awareness. The event took place on February 7-11th, 2026, in Basra, Iraq.

EISMENA was invited to a discussion of the ongoing situation in Syria after the attack of the government of Al-Sharaa’s on the Rojava (Syrian Kurdish Region). This event took place on February 2nd, 2026, in Paris, France.
